I'll be writing weekly of what happened in that week sort of like a journal. I hope it will be helping me improve my English!
Posted on January 21st
Today I saw some teachers having a meeting. (I was told to go with Jody and Jun Xiang) It was pretty scary with all these adults sitting on a table talking about school. First, I felt weird. I was wondering what we were going to do until one of the teachers told us. But at the end, Mr.Randell told us to tell our teacher that each of us got a merit! I was super happy about that!
Yesterday I felt bored. Yesterday we didn't have a lot of special classes like art, music or other classes that are not in our classroom. But, after school I had an after school ECA. The ECA I had was ping pong, it was really nice because Mr.Fagg gave us a really good idea. The idea was letting half side of the table stand and hit alone. Everyone was really fascinated about his idea.
Last week, I learnt about Isaac Newton and forces. We learnt that there were 5 forces. 1, Magnetic force 2, Gravity 3, Friction 4, compression 5, Stretching I liked the experiment about the weight underwater and the weight in air the most. It was really fun!
Tomorrow I hope I could do whatever I want to do. Maybe just sit there and watch TV or maybe chat with friends or maybe go outside to SOMEWHERE? I think...
January 30th
Today I went to a elderly home with my grandma, mom, my sister and some people from Chu Zhi. I saw some really old women and men. They were all above 80 years old. They were not wanted by either their child or family, which is really wretched. Since it is Chinese New Year, my mom brought some cake to share with them. Some people including my grandma and I went to the women's department. My sister , mom and other people went to the men's department to feed them. We couldn't give them a big piece because they couldn't eat that fast which was a bit annoying. I fed a woman who was sick and was also really nice to me. She was about 90 years old. I felt sad for them.
Yesterday I felt actually nothing. But also kind of happy. Because, after Yu-Ting's birthday party at lazer trecks my family went shopping together and also went to have some delicious dinner.
Last week I learnt that "Hua Tuo" is a really famous doctor in China. And a lot more about other famous people. Another thing that I learnt was almost everything about galleon. The parts, the name of the parts and a lot more about the sailors. It was really interesting!
Tomorrow I hope my grandma and aunt could come to our house and visit us. It must be really fun! We could make things like dolls which my aunt is really good in. (She actually teaches it) I always do these things whenever is around... My grandma maybe will bring some delicious food she made... I hope they will come!
8th of February
SOrry A BIT LATE!
Today I saw someone hugging a really adorable cute little puppy who was white and furry. I stared at the man hugging it; thinking that I would want to have a dog that adorable and furry.
I think I was jealous of that man.
Yesterday I felt really sad and funny. Yesterday at 10:00 my cousins left. I wanted them to stay but my mom said that we had to wake up really early the next day cos it was time for school. I didn't want to go to school at all. During midnight there was a mosquito in my room by the way I was sleeping with my sister cos I just wanted to. So, the mosquito was flying around me buzzing, I got really annoyed so went back to my room. In my room, fortunately, there wasn't any mosquito but instead it was SO FREEZING! I read in my room wearing really thick clothes sitting on my bed. Until it was 3:00 AM I went back to my sister's room and found out that the mosquito disappeared. I was kind of happy and then I slept. When I woke up it was already late. I was rushing to put all my clothes on....
Last week I learnt actually nothing cos we didn't have school. LOL
Tomorrow I hope we don't have a lot of homework and that the math test that wasn't finished would be finished tomorrow...

Today I saw a piano tuner person tuning our piano... I didn't really get what he was doing neither did I get what the use of turning that weird hook thing. It looked weird, I was really amazed how the tune has changed after he tuned the piano. It was much easier and it sounder a lot better than before...
Yesterday I felt a bit bad and ... I don't really know. I felt bad because it was the first day back after the weekends I didn't really want to go to school especially after the wonderful dinner I had with my family. I wanted to stay with them. In the morning I wanted to stay in my warm and cozy bed just sleeping. But my mom came in and woke me up... That was when I noticed that I was late... I woke up too late!
Last week I learnt that Raleigh Walter wait a second I am not supposed to say this until... I don't know the date but I am not supposed to say it anyways... So never mind about this paragraph... hehe
Tomorrow I hope it is not our turn to act the Lazy man Who doesn't Wash HIS DISHES!!! Please Ms.Bae may you give us some extra time to practice??? (asked nicely_hehe please>.<_) February 20 2011
Today I saw a girl who failed in American Idol. She fought with the judges to give her another chance and all the judges said was that she sang really bad. I felt really sorry for her because she has been practicing really hard just to get through this group singing thing.
Yesterday I felt really happy because I went out with my family for lunch. We went to Shin Kong Apartment store. We went shopping and I bought a mostly white and has a bit purple shoes for P.E it's a running shoe.
Last week I learnt all about ratio and proportion. It is pretty hard and it is also fun to learn because we have different kinds of examples like baking a cake or how many heads can fit in a person.
Tomorrow I hope that school will be fun with Ms.Corry in our math class. Hope it's fun!

Today I saw a dog almost running into a car right in front of our house. I was kind of frustrated because the poor little dog was also frustrated it was running in circles like he was really hit by that car. I wouldn't want to be a dog...
Yesterday I felt tired and disgust because our family went for a long stroll in the fields. When we were walking we saw a poor rat suffering because a car rode of it. I was totally disgust when is started to crawl to the edge and fell into the dirty and muddy water. When it fell into the water it died and I saw the rat flowing on the water... HOW DISGUSTING!
Last week I learnt that the Fort San Domingo's Chinese name came from the Nederlands! (my favorite country) It is because Dutch people have red hair. But Yu Ting and I totally disagree because most of the Dutch people we now have gold hair.
Tomorrow I hope I really have fun at school and enjoy the day back at school! HAPPY!
March 18
Sorry I forgot to write the journal entry on Sunday but we had to leave to Kenting for a school trip which was amazing... Today I saw kids from our class running up to there mom telling them how much they missed them. It was fun to watch them running around with their luggages trying to get to their lovely mom. (or dad)
Yesterday I felt really upset because I knew that the trip was almost ending which was a total disaster!! I also felt excited because there was going to be a talent show happening at night where the boys hold on a fighting show which was weird but also kind of entertaining....
Last week I learnt that the Anping Fort actually took 10 years to build. I was really suprised when I knew that . How could Dutch people do that! THAT IS JUST AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow I hope I can have a good rest in bed... I would also watch TV I think. TV is like the best entertainment I have in my room.... Which I hope is not going to be took away since I have moved my bedroom.
March 21
Today I saw Curtis running up to Natalie shouting, "MY ELEPHANT" since Natalie borrowed it and didn't return it.... It was so funny to watch as Curtis was lying on the ground suffering from pain Natalie gave him by kicking shouting poking and etc. Anyways it was SO funny that I couldn't stop laughing.
Yesterday I felt weird. I went to cut my hair and I felt weird since my hair was shorter. But the main thing is when I came to school today no one actually noticed that. I trimmed it but I also cut a bit.... Didn't woman who was cutting my hair cut more? It doesn't really matter but I am just saying.... LOL
Last week I learnt that in the painting of Anping Fort there was a BIG mistake because on the painting that had a ship that had a lot of Dutch flags on it I found one Dutch flag that had 1 more layer of white which was a really big mistake. It is not something I actually could learn but it is interesting to know.
Tomorrow I hope that swimming class will be canceled. I so do not want to go to swimming class it is like the worst thing I have ever had during PE classes.
March 27
Today I saw my dad coming home really tired since he went out really early at 5:00. He had to go to this place in the mountains where all my grand father's or even the older ones were put after they past away; My dad had to go there to clean all the grass that was not supposed to be grown there.
Yesterday I felt relaxed since I was staying home for the whole day.... I was kind of bored and had nothing to do. It was a pretty good day since I didn't have anything to worry about!
Last week I learnt that there are many ways to use Tota Tola! LOL Check your Email and you should notice the email Ms.Bae sent you about the script and look at the second scene! HAHA!!!! and at Kristian's part!

Today I saw a person standing in front of another's house trying to ring the bell at the front door which wasn't working well with the guy... The guy wanted to look at the electricity note thing but he was just a fake person who takes money and goes in. Our helper luckily knows that guy so didn't let him in when he got to our house because my mom was unfortunately
Yesterday I felt really super duper happy for Claire! HAPPY B-DAY CLAIRE! Hope you had fun! I was really happy for Claire because it was her 11th Birthday! I felt SAD because I didn't have the chance to fool my sister! AW.......
Last week I learnt that THIS WEEK IS A SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!! YAY! Spring break is here and I am going to the newest theme park for 2 days in Kaoshuing! It must be fun! There is a shopping mall and a theme park and I want to go to both!
Tomorrow I hope that it will be a fair weather so I can go out and have fun with my aunt~ And do stuff with my mom at home if she doesn't have stuff to do!
April 11
Today I saw my father's future office starting to build. They were scratching off the walls loudly it was on the same road as our house so it's not really far away. We past it when I went home from school with my mom where there were people standing there looking at the wall being taken off.
Yesterday I felt really weird. I SO didn't want to go to school. I was so happy during the holiday that I didn't want to school even a teeny tiny bit. I WAS SO SAD. Didn't know why but I felt frustrated and really really upset for no reason.
Last week I learnt how to bake a banana cake AND make soap. It was AMAZING! What I also learnt was that yeast can blow up a balloon! MAGIC! The scientific reason is actually that yeast is a micro-organism. So thats why it likes body temperature more than other's. When it meets sugar and water it actually blows up. Sugar is it's food.
Tomorrow I hope that swimming class will end earlier and we have a break in the swimming pool. Because it is always so fun to be in water. And I hope that somebody else would bring cake as the things I have never done! Than I could enjoy another cake like I did to Ruchel's cake!
April 18
Today I saw people stressing about what their lines were... Like Victoria who was sitting there totally stressed out and sitting there just staring at the people who are on stage. It was pretty funny to watch her sitting there but anyways. I also did kind of forget my lines somehow. So wish me luck for tomorrow the ASSEMBLY~
Yesterday I felt stressed because I made a mess in the kitchen because I was making cake and my helper was like OH NO! I have to clean this up and I was like please don't tell my mom... And she went all crazy... But I was also happy because the cake was delicious!
Last week I learnt that most of the kids in year five live about 3.5 KM away from school! I was so surprised because I live 10 KM further which is also an hour away from school. Sometimes I just get all freaked out because I couldn't take it sitting SO long on the bus it drives me NUTS!
Tomorrow I hope our assembly will be well presented and I will not forget my lines in the middle of our assembly so wish me luck and hope that others won't forget their lines!
April 26
I forgot to write this journal entry because it was easterbreak yesterday! Today I saw my new bulletin board next to my bed! I am SO excited to buy the magnets and hang my stuff onto it! It must look amazing! Can't believe that I got one in few weeks after my sister has asked for one! IT LOOKS SO SUPER DUPER AWESOME! But the point is I can't get to the top of the board! It is HUMONGOUS! I can't reach the top so am I supposed to use the ladder or anything?
Yesterday I felt so extremely exited to come to school and play NOT learn! HAHA! I was so exited to come back to school and tell my friends about the holiday that I watched about 7 movies! It was the most relaxing holiday I had since the year had started! I LOVED IT!
Last week I learnt that in chinese we had this extremely boring homework to do. It was all about reviewing the lessons we had! What we had to do is that we got a piece of A3 paper and we had to fold it 5 times and then cut in once! It was pretty nice to make and also interesting but the part that we had to write... SUCKS!
Tomorrow I hope we will have fun at school and not reviewing boring literacy that might kill me...... PLEASE!
May 3
Today I saw Mr.Milner getting angry at few kids running around while we were waiting to go to swimming. All the people were shocked because he got SO angry everyone were so quiet and didn't move a finger. The people who were scold were frozen they looked also really angry.
Yesterday I felt really bored, only until today I found out that I forget to write my journal entry. I was so worried today. I did this after I came home... and doing it right now.....
Last week I learnt all about plants. It was so interesting and fun how the bees vibrate to get the pollen out of the tube I was so into the video it was AMAZING and also so interesting I was sitting there staring at the screen and amazed...
Tomorrow I hope we have a nice day at school and I can find stuff I need at Takashimaya. It'll be fun! I HOPE....
May 9
Today I saw people from different sections singing a song... It was fun looking afterwards we had to sing it too. The german and French parts were a bit difficult since I don't speak both of those languages.
Yesterday I felt excited because it was Europe Day today. I was so excited I couldn't sleep. Thats why I feel so tired right now..... Also I felt a bit sad somehow....
Last week I learnt how to play spelling bee in a fun way. It was so fun. On Friday the best day of the week we were during literacy with the mainstream people. Ms.Bae thought us a really fun game. Called buzz of hairy legs in a weird way. We had to say the word spell the word in turns and then say the word again. Then you have to say buzz of hairy legs and the one that says legs dies...

The mushroom at this amazing factory, are grown in a high tech way. This is unusual because this is more expensive. But however, this will also double the the amount of mushrooms growing too. People said that the mushroom there are delicious. Also people have seen it too.
How To Pick
First, you need to bend the mushroom so it can get of from the crowd of them. Afterwards, you can if you want cut of the bottom of the mushroom also the hardest and the most not delicious part. This is what a young girl said after she saw it, " I think this mushroom factory is amazing! The mushrooms there are fat and delicious looking, I was starving after looking at it!" Another man said, "I have never seen such a fascinating situation! It's AMAZING!"
Special Features
The mushrooms at this factory are bigger than normal ones. They are healthier because they are organic. Supervisors have checked it and also rated it.
June 7
Today I saw a woman almost bashing into a car that was driving on almost full speed. It drove past me and I was shocked and I think that woman must be shocked too. She looked terrified as she crossed the road. I wouldn't want to be her... at all..
Yesterday I felt super happy. There is a tale that there are ghost in houses on every year's yesterday. And than you can leave a egg standing up right. It was the very first time for me to ever do it right. I remember one year the egg broke because I was pressing on it too much. And also I was super happy because it turned super easy since I new the method. I did 10 of them. I am SO proud of myself!
Last week I learnt that monday, yesterday was a chinese day. It was when the white snake met the man... as it said. Also all about the cars we are making I am excited to see the final look!
Tomorrow I hope that the rehearsal of the leaver's assembly will be alright and also it is almost the end of this year group! Aren't you guys excited? I am! I am so excited to go on summer holidays!
June 12
Today I saw my sister's finished product for her science force project. I felt proud of myself since I had helped her turn the color of the water and made the octopus. It looked amazing and it was really nice looking.
Yesterday I felt tired. Because my mom, sister and I went to IKEA to buy some things and we went around like 3 times. It was really tiring. After that I went Ice Skating which was even "more" tiring. I felt so sour after both activities.
Last week I learnt about where all the classes are in Year 7 (ESC)! It was amazingly fun and also it was really hard to find things because the school was SO big.
Tomorrow I hope we will have fun at school and have fun classes!
June 20
Today I saw people using the hot glue guns. So did I. I was scared that I might burn myself but I didn't. (luckily) Also I saw a scary teacher who had to kick the whole year 6 out of the building because we went to the wrong door. I felt really angry because everyone told us to go from there in the past! GRRRRRRRR.....!
Yesterday I felt warm also awkward... First it was because I went to a party and it was suprisingly hot outside since it was already late! The awkward reason is weird enough to not tell on the blog!
Last week we learnt about PERSONAL stuff. For some reasons we are not allowed to give extra information about it. It was pretty embarrassing, awkward and interesting.
Tomorrow I hope I can finish off making my car (small)!
